Valerian and the City of a Thousand Planets

Welcome to Alpha — the sprawling space metropolis at the heart of Luc Besson’s visually extravagant sci-fi adventure Valerian and the City of a Thousand Planets. This striking movie poster captures the essence of the 2017 cult hit: vibrant, chaotic, and bursting with interstellar imagination. Featuring bold typography, rich textures, and the shimmering scale of deep space, it’s a show-stopping piece for any fan of modern space epics.

Starring Dane DeHaan, Cara Delevingne, Clive Owen, Rihanna, Ethan Hawke, Kris Wu, and Herbie Hancock, the film is based on the French graphic novel series Valérian and Laureline, and it leans heavily into lush, technicolour world-building. Directed by Luc Besson, the visionary behind The Fifth Element, this movie pushed the boundaries of CGI storytelling — and the poster followed suit. Designed by Concept Arts, the key artwork showcases Valerian and Laureline against a kaleidoscope of alien species, starships, and galactic chaos.

Printed in Australia using premium archival materials and available in your preferred format — including framed prints, stretched canvas, floating frames, rolled canvas, or paper print — this poster is made to elevate any space. Whether you’re a fan of graphic novels, space operas, or just love good design with a cosmic twist, this print delivers maximum visual impact with a blast of sci-fi energy.
