Trading Places

Trading Places Movie Poster is a wonderfully exuberant piece of 1980s film artwork, starring Dan Aykroyd and Eddie Murphy in sharp suits, surrounded by bundles of cash and grinning as their fortunes take an unexpected turn. The decorative dollar-bill border, lively city scene and bold typography give the design an unmistakably vintage cinema aesthetic, while the credits celebrate John Landis’s direction and a memorable supporting cast including Jamie Lee Curtis, Ralph Bellamy, Don Ameche and Denholm Elliott. Full of humour, money and period charm, it perfectly reflects the film’s clever collision of comedy, social satire and outrageous financial scheming.
