Storyline
Setting

Plot
Gru, an 11-year-old boy, idolizes the Vicious 6, a group of notorious supervillains led by Wild Knuckles (Alan Arkin). Gru dreams of joining them but is dismissed due to his age. Undeterred, he decides to prove himself by stealing the magical Zodiac Stone, which can summon the power of the Chinese zodiac during the Lunar New Year. The stone is crucial for the Vicious 6 to gain unlimited power.
The Heist
Gru entrusts the Zodiac Stone to his Minions, but before he can recover it, he is kidnapped by Wild Knuckles. The Minions, led by Kevin, Stuart, Bob, and the new Minion Otto, embark on a mission to rescue Gru. Along the way, they meet Master Chow (Michelle Yeoh), a retired kung fu teacher who trains them in martial arts to help in their rescue mission.
Adventure in San Francisco
The Minions travel to San Francisco to rescue Gru, where they face various challenges and battles against the Vicious 6. The final showdown takes place during a Chinese New Year parade in Chinatown. Despite their efforts, the Vicious 6 manage to corner Gru and use the Zodiac Stone to transform into giant animal monsters. However, with the help of Master Chow’s kung fu training, the Minions find their inner beasts and manage to defeat most of the Vicious 6.
Conclusion
In the end, Gru retrieves the Zodiac Stone and uses it to turn the Vicious 6 into rats. The Anti-Villain League (AVL) takes them into custody, and Knuckles is injured but vows to see Gru again soon.
